Skybound Clash

# About the Game  
**Skybound Clash** is a colorful 2D platform fighting game built with Python and Pygame. Choose from five fighters—Aegis, Ember, Tide, Volt, or Terra—and face off against a CPU-controlled opponent across a multi-level arena filled with platforms. 
 Move, jump, double-jump, attack, and launch opponents beyond the arena’s blast zones. Build damage to increase knockback, protect yourself with a shield, air-dodge dangerous attacks, and charge your super meter by landing hits. When your meter is full, unleash a powerful character-specific super attack. 
 Each fighter has a different play style, speed, weight, basic attack strength, special moves, and ultimate ability. 
Set traps with Ember or Volt, control space with Tide, rely on Aegis’s defensive power, or overwhelm opponents with Terra’s heavy attacks.
 Matches feature three stocks per fighter and a three-minute time limit, with the winner decided by knockouts, remaining stocks, or damage when time runs out. 
 ## Controls  ###
 Player 1  
- **A / D** — Move left and right 
- **W or I** — Jump and double-jump 
- **J** — Basic attack 
- **K** — Special attack 
- **L** — Shield while grounded; air dodge while airborne 
- **O** — Super attack when the meter is full  
# Menu and Match Controls  
- **1–5** — Choose Player 1’s fighter 
- **Enter** — Start a match or return from the results screen 
- **P** — Pause or resume 
- **R** — Return to the menu 
- **Esc** — Quit  
Player 2 is controlled by the computer.  
# Fighters  
- **Aegis** — A defensive fighter with powerful guard-based attacks 
- **Ember** — A fast fire-based fighter with mines, dashes, and aerial strikes 
- **Tide** — A water-themed fighter with projectiles and strong aerial attacks 
- **Volt** — A lightning-fast fighter with teleportation and electric attacks 
- **Terra** — A heavyweight fighter with powerful attacks and high durability  
 How to Run  
You’ll need:  
- Python 3.8 or newer 
- Pygame  
1. Place `main.py`, `requirements.txt`, and `README.md` in the same folder. 
2. Open a terminal in that folder. 
3. Install the required dependency:  ```bash pip install -r requirements.txt
